Meet Indy
This sweet 6-year-old girl sadly found herself surrendered to our rescue, and now we’re looking for the forever family she deserves.
Indy grew up with kids and absolutely loves them! She is kennel trained and potty trained, making her a great companion for the right home. She is a true bird-hunting dog and loves to point and go after birds, so we do not recommend a home with cats due to her high prey drive.
Indy has lived with another dog and has also been in a foster home with another dog. She can be a little bossy with her canine friends, so she would do best with a more submissive dog. Once she becomes comfortable, she loves to play and enjoys having a doggy companion.
She loves toys and still has plenty of good energy for her age! Because she can jump surprisingly high, a secure yard is a must. Breed experience is preferred.
Indy is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Meet Sofly
Sofly is a handsome 2-year-old Black German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. ❤️After a difficult start in life, this sweet boy is ready for the stable, loving home he truly deserves.
Sofly is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. He loves being close to his people and is truly a shadow dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He is smart, loving, and eager to form a deep bond with his family. He is also currently working with a professional trainer on manners, structure, and confidence, and he continues to make wonderful progress.
🏡Sofly’s ideal home:
- A house with a secure, fenced yard — no apartments
- A family who is home often or can provide him with plenty of companionship
- Breed-experienced owners are a big plus
- A patient and loving family who will continue working with him and his training
Because of Sofly’s rough past, he can be nervous and does experience some separation anxiety. When he becomes overwhelmed or overly excited, he may have submissive pee accidents. With patience, structure, consistency, and reassurance, he continues to learn and grow.
Sofly was originally at The Animal Foundation last year as a stray, emaciated and in desperate need of care. His original foster stepped in, helped bring him back to health, and gave him the love and support he needed. He was then adopted, but unfortunately, he was passed around again, and the person who had him next wanted to return him to the shelter. His original foster stepped in once more to keep him safe.
Sofly has been through far too much, but through it all, he has remained loving, gentle, and devoted.
